This revisionist history has been in play for a while - many US textbooks are from TX and have been indoctrinating kids for years. In my daughter’s AP History text it taught that slave and master relationships were more like kind father and child bonds and that Northern workers had it worse. 🤦🏾‍♀️

My adult child is autistic and my older brother who lives with me and who I take care of is mentally disabled but he can walk. Given how they twist words like “facilitate” I’m terrified that they will use a strict definition of able-bodied to disqualify millions.
