I finished my short paper on Bentham and utility based on the reading of Principles of Morals and Legislation (1789). Then we had a Zoom lecture, and I found out Bentham's views are just a prelude to reading John Stuart Mill on Utilitarianism. Down another rabbit hole. #WhenDoesItEnd 😅

me about a month ago and now I have a cat that wakes me up at 4 am to be fed after engaging in kitty races with my other cat from midnight to 2 am. Plus he eats twice what the other one eats.

6 AM. One cat on the bed, softly purring. 6:05 AM. Two cats on the bed, 2nd cat gently meowing. 6:10 AM. Newest adopted cat, still young, still semi-feral, but warming up to love and affection, vigorously jumps on top of me in bed, and aggressively bites and scratches my arm to get me to feed him.

This. I recently rescued a feral kitten and gave him a home despite already having three cats. It was a little hard at first, but they have welcomed him into the house. He is now eating me out of house and home. Must have been hungry for so long. I’m happy to have given him a home for Christmas.
