@mooseallain.bsky.social I believe this is an alternative angle of the original tree for you. Spotted during a break in the rain on a very damp dog walk this morning.

That definitely matches the field pattern and is a strong call. I wondered if it was one of these but think yours is more likely. We need to arrange joint expeditions to Ridgetop and to the tree, both groups with a large flagpole to wave from and ideally a flare.

I've a friend up there right now - one of the many following your tree story - who has taken a clearer picture of the "new tree". Off the road to Shillingford? May well have a search when we're back...
