Just looking up gyrocopter hire now.

Meanwhile here's the whole photo. A spot well worth exploring. Location in the alt text.

Both trees?

@mooseallain.bsky.social I believe this is an alternative angle of the original tree for you. Spotted during a break in the rain on a very damp dog walk this morning.

That definitely matches the field pattern and is a strong call. I wondered if it was one of these but think yours is more likely. We need to arrange joint expeditions to Ridgetop and to the tree, both groups with a large flagpole to wave from and ideally a flare.

I've a friend up there right now - one of the many following your tree story - who has taken a clearer picture of the "new tree". Off the road to Shillingford? May well have a search when we're back...

Ah! This was timely @mooseallain.bsky.social We were trying to work out if this was the same tree from yet another angle just last week - this is from the new Ridgetop park. Too close?

No cute "bell-end photo" from me. Imagine the different levels of delight shared between me and this whippet when one of us chose to roll in the entrails of dead rat? Clue: it wasn't the one of us who could hold the phone.

I also prioritised the dog. He's very appreciative.

Can't see mine either. Just this unusual bundle of firewood in the snow.
