Since projects take years even if they seem doable in months, rapid choice of problems leads to frustration and bitterness. It takes time to find a good problem, and every week spent in choosing one can save months or years later on.

Hurricanes cause tremendous damage to forests, whether natural or plantations, but we know very little about what actually happens to trees during high winds (for obvious reasons). In our latest work we have the answer... 🧵👇🧪🌏 1/12
