Some federal workers are going back to work.

The USDA has been ordered to temporarily give over 5,000 workers their jobs back.

Dozens of CDC scientists have been reinstated after being illegally fired.

The National Science Foundation has rehired half of the workers it fired.

Beavers are nature’s engineers. They could save the government millions in the fight against flooding and water shortages, writes @timsmedley.bsky.social.

To fight flooding, bring back the beaver—for good, this time
There’s a simple and cost-effective solution to flooding and water shortages. It’s got four legs, a flat tail and a talent for engineering

The right leaning papers in the UK are getting really pathetic.

As an archetypical floating voter, this constant stream of pathetic attempts to pin some complete nothing of a story on Stamer to try generate a scandal is so off putting.

I’m just going to entrench further.

Have you seen this?

I’m personally furious. It’s the kind of dull partisan bullshit we expected from the last party, not this government.

This is totally unacceptable.

Ditching a popular policy that would have deep and far reaching benefit to Britain to very little cost simply because of a bullshit partisan mindset is NOT what I expected from Labour.

I am deeply concerned about troubling global trends for wolves. Conservation downgrades and politically driven hunting quotas, ignoring science, threaten a keystone species and decades of progress. This sets a dangerous precedent.

Hello Bluesky!

Happy to make this image my first post!

It’s only possible in one place in the world. That’s a Giant Groundsel tree, and only grows at 3500 to 4500m on Kilimanjaro.

Placing one in front of the Milky Way was my goal - all to produce a very unique image.
