For me it would be Buck suddenly finding the couch really uncomfortable - right couch, wrong time type - and complaining to Eddie and Eddie being like “it always has been? I don’t know how you slept on that thing for so long”.

And then once Eddie comes back, the sofa is comfy again

I think it makes sense in the “I’m comfortable and I’m not in *that house* where the trauma happened” but to me the most likely storyline from that is Chris realising that actually his dad moving to Texas has fixed nothing, especially if the relationship w dad and grandparents is rocky
