Passports confiscated by which agents? In which airports? Why aren’t those impacted aligning with the ACLU, suing, and making public statements? Or, if they are, where can I find them?

The unintended consequences are silly. The policy itself is ridiculous and ignorant.
Has the TSA, the Department of State, or an airline representative told you your existing passport is no longer valid? I have not heard of such refusals occurring.
