A rare visitor to my yard: A Northern Flicker on a cold, gray morning. He looks like he want’s nothing to do with being photographed. But I got him eventually. It's only the second one I’ve seen in 30 years. Not that they couldn’t have been around - I just never saw any. #OM1 #omsystem #birds

I was out looking for small birds in my yard when three red tailed hawks started making a fuss. They were hard to capture but I managed to get the important one! I didn’t see until I started processing the images that one had a bird. #omsystem #om1 #hawk #hunter #birds #Vermont

This photo is in my office from when my dad was still alive and reminded me of "better times" - a fishing hole in Indiana while out visiting my grandparents. Times weren't always "better" but at least 8 year old me wasn't thinking about work.

Went to the Southern Vermont Arts Center to see the Jim Westphalen photography exhibit. Unbelievable work - and some are two to 4 feet across!
