I agree with you that, of course, avoiding deforestation is a good thing. It makes sense to keep accountability and encourage these schemes to take place. But they shouldn't give any license to emit more. That's also what Kevin Anderson says: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_57O...

Does gluing yourself to an O&G exec matter if you go home and turn on the gas to heat your home or is staying home and converting your home to run on solar energy and booting out gas heaters matter?
