Man, I wish for a future with product design that revisits the beauty of that era. Absolutely wonderful and perfectly captured!

Do you develop Tri-X yourself? :)

I put a roll in a Rolleicord Vb, but also a huge backlog of undeveloped film. I’ll show what I got in ~3 years! 🥲

The way the colors transition from one photo to the next is absolutely stunning.

What a nice shot. Took a sweet photographer to put a sweet smile on her face, I’m sure. :>

One of the examples that stood out to me recently was @seanmcarroll.bsky.social in the mindscape podcast.

Always measured in his language, I simply did not expect him to use (and justify the use) of the word stupid to describe people two minutes into the episode, but damn is he right.

Awesome, thanks for the response! I had the pleasure to read some survey papers on Physarum biology a while ago. As a complete layman, it blew me away what these organisms are capable of.

Oh, thanks for the info!
Since I’m among knowledgeable people here: if I’m not mistaken, Physarum has been re-classified rather often. If that is true, is that common for slime mods in general, because the taxonomy is in flux? Or is that specific to Physarum? :)

Or is that an entirely different species? Either way, exciting stuff! Your post history is gold!

2/3 "Ironically, Smithson never stepped foot in the United States, and we are not sure why this British aristocrat donated his fortune to the American people. It is believed he was inspired by America's experiment in democracy and tempered by his own struggles as an illegitimate child."
