This is the 2nd coat of anti slip paint which went on yesterday. So, after nearly a week of preparation from all the scrubbing, sanding, dusting, more washing, protecting the no paint areas with blue tape, the first coat of paint.......I ACHE! #gettingtoooldforthisjob #sailing

Good little buy at a local 2nd hand store this electric portable sewing machine for £5! Made 4 new curtains for my yacht in under 2 hours! Can’t wait to hang them up tomorrow.

This will probably look shit on camera but applied a coat of toplac plus paint on the cockpit lockers. ⛵️

Is it this varnish you refer to ? I think they're both the same but different labels. I saw a pic of a varnished flag pole using Coelan and again it looked beautiful.....but 12 coats? Thanks for the tips on the brushes. I usually discard after use anyway.

So I was right about MARINER holding the record for a race that has never been beaten as this explains a LOT! Because it's NEVER been raced again since 1925! Also, those mathematics involved behind the handicaps for some yachts I think has altered and is not applied today... #transpacrace #sailing
