Congratulations to Dr Bethan Ford, Sophia Rose Long, and Dr Juna Sathian who have made a breakthrough in their development of a new type of ‘microwave amplification by stimulated emission of radiation’ device – or Maser.

Their findings have been published in Communications Engineering today.

A MASSIVE well done to Northumbria graduate Lol Crawley who won an Oscar last night!

Lol won the Best Cinematography award for his work on The Brutalist, for which he also won a BAFTA last month.
