It still is crazy to me how the idea of a digital subscription service for older games (ps3/xbox360 games and older) is totally workable, but Microsoft insisted they needed to put new games on the platform and then jacked up the price, guaranteeing the service turns into paste upon impact

I feel like the only thing that would prevent this is that so many companies rely on Microsoft infrastructure that I assume any government (but especially this one) would literally move heaven and earth to bail them out

They will insist that the game wouldve made more at 80$ after it fails! They will likely also go bankrupt quickly after I assume

Its especially weird cause its the basis of basically every other mainline Pokemon game that came after it. So forgettable but also absurdly influential
