This is mainly for myself and holding myself accountable. I can’t promise I’ll do a daily review of my trades here but that is my goal. I won’t post any dollar amounts bc that is irrelevant. I will post a daily R-value. The significance of R/position sizing can not be understated.

I won’t give recommendations. I will be as transparent as possible. I make maybe 3-4 trades a day. I term it “position day trading”. I use only buy and stop orders for entry/exits. I use Van Tharp’s “R values” for sizing. I always know pre-trade my entry; stop loss; and first target.

There is a thing called “paralysis by analysis” in trading and it’s true. Less is more with trading and when I see a chart with lines, oscillators, and lord know what else, I can deduce the trader probably isn’t successful. There are 100 frauds to 1 legit trader these days. So be careful.

I trade equities, the hottest movers of the day (highest % gain). My rules state no trades before 10:30AM or after 1:30PM. Most are at 11:00AM. I trade mainly 30min charts with 15min to reduce risk, sometimes. I’ll go into my style more but I only use price action and 2 moving averages.

But you can succeed as well, but you will fail and rip your hair out. If persistent and find a mentor, you have a little bit of a chance. My mentor is/was Trader X at traderx.blogspot.com. I trade exactly his style. His archives are invaluable and if want to succeed, memorize his trades.

Briefly - I’m 40 y/o. Got bitten by trading bug when I was 17. I’m still impatient and KISS, so I still only daytrade. Daytrading will rip your soul out and say you’re welcome afterward. I will tell you to avoid daytrading like the plague. You will fail, it’s inevitable. Sorry, it’s true.

Hi all. Left X and company awhile ago bc it was awful. Trading is full of white, “alpha” males. I’m a white male, too, used to have a similar mindset but that changed a long time ago. My goal is to become filthy rich and change wall st from the inside. Wish me luck…
