Wow. How could I forget Gaddafi. Seems the paradigm is now a lot more "normal" than it was in the 80s? I guess the information overload of 24/7 news and web access have led have eroded (obliterated?) the baselines of everything, really.

True, actually. Iraq went on for so long I seem to have normalised it into the "turbulent part of an era" category. And the Maduro op immediately made me think of 80s LatAm regime change ops.

That's a good point, I'm probably taking it to literal and this is meant to nudge me to buying firearms. Unfortunately for the gun companies I have absolutely no interest in doing that, though

I do this once a month or so, but eventually the SEALS/Delta/SAS videos bubble up in my feed again. Algorithm doesn't seem to care that I'm past the age range and not in any shape for these groups. I wonder what could possibly be coming for the bottom barrel scraping to go that deep.
