I don’t think a video package is ever *really* necessary. Cause a) like you said, you can always just use Google, and B) if you put them in a dope ass showcase match right away, people won’t need to know who they are to know they rule

Make him feel genuinely dangerous, and stop having people except the top main eventers interact with this story in anyway except being absolutely demolished by the death riders. Make them scary

Darby? The dude who’s preparing for Everest? I can’t handle 6 more months of this, I don’t know anyone who’s interested anymore. AEW needs to pivot the title into one of the other, far more compelling stories, or somehow give this story a shot in the arm. Have Mox kill Jeff Jarret or something idk

Why are we focusing on Cope? Why are we teaming with the learning tree, why is Mox being booked like a total bitch who needs all his friends to help him retain? Most importantly to me, why does it feel like no one is being built up to take this belt off of him?

It’s genuinely crazy to me how badly they fumbled this. The first few weeks were incredible. The plastic bags, the aesthetic, them refusing to re-air footage of their attacks. It felt gritty, and the talent involved are all great, so what’s the issue?

That could even lead into a match against Cena for Cody. It just feels like a missed opportunity to tell a more interesting story. But it would involve leaning into Cody’s character flaws, which they don’t seem to want to do

Like, can you imagine if instead of Owens believing he was the “real” champion. He acknowledged that, no of course he isn’t the champion, but with how Cody has been acting, No loyalty, no respect, that he doesn’t seem like he’s much of a champion either.
