That’s so frustrating - ugh!

Ugh - so horrible. There must be something in the air - for the last week I have been super struggling with sleep too - which makes me exhausted…and more frustrated that it’s so hard to sleep. Ugh.

I understand my friends desire with wanting to shield her kid from the pain that can come come from being your authentic self in a world that doesn’t always do a good enough job of acceptance or understanding - and maybe I’m naive…but I can’t imagine anyone not loving her kid no matter what. Sigh.

If it’s this difficult for her to talk to her very easy going family (who I personally would never even question them taking it in as much stride as you can) about her child’s transition…I can’t imagine how difficult it is for those who don’t have open or accepting families.

Also: I recognize how very very messed up this is. Alas always strikes me as odd and I wonder sometimes if I miss other peoples semi-public meltdowns..?

The only places I would assume would have them are in BC where there could be tsunamis or near nuclear plants? When I was little if there was ever anything it would cut into your radio or TV - but never anything like a siren

I don’t know of any places here that have emergency alerts even in bigger cities…but would think there would be some places that have them? Maybe not as much a Canadian thing? But even bigger places I’ve visited I’ve never experienced a test of any of them.

We don’t have anything like that here (that I’ve ever known of or experienced). Every so often we have a phone test where they ping every phone with an emergency alert at the same time - but that’s about it. But I also live in rural cottage country.

My 1yo understands this in her soul. She would (and sometimes does?) eat guac daily. I’m sorry it’s a Mondayish Monday!

Takes a long time and need to balance rest/movement/exercises so that disc can move back & not press on nerve…luckily not at a point that needs surgery. Just have to be careful as will be more prone to it now & need to strengthen core…try to continue to heal and prevent it from happening again

I’ve been doing Physio/massage for 5 weeks - literally since the moment this started…got on top of it quickly and switched to prescribed meds for pain/inflammation after 2 weeks of the others not doing much…. Ended up in the ER 2x due to symptoms but finally feeling like it’s slowly healing….
