Did you know that you could make dye from this pretty native wildflower? Coreopsis tinctoria, has been called "dyers coreopsis" and the dye results in tones of orange and brown.

A display box made as an educational tool.
These paper plants depict Shasta Daisy and Oxeye Daisy. While neither are a native plant to North America, the idea is to encourage people to plant Shastas as they are non-invasive (they're a hybrid).
