I had a conversation with a Senator about what to do in times like these. How I still believe that we can win, if we all stop fighting each other like the billionaires want us to, and fight them instead. They said I was naive because some people feel they can't survive without dominating others...

I am from the neighborhood where the central park 5 was falsely accused. Where Donald Trump put down $80,000 of his own money into an ad campaign calling for the execution of those children. He's trying to do to the country what he tried to do to us in Harlem: Purchase lives and purchase deaths.

I was blessed with some wonderful gifts, and yet challenged everyday by the fear of using them for the good of humanity. Perhaps the fear is not an actual obstacle, but a gift in itself that will give me the life experience needed to speak to other people who are also afraid. #fearisnottheend

Do not neglect the meek. The people who have been so beaten down by what we have seen in the last few days, they're hopeless. Not all of us are bold enough to push back. But to those of us who have the gift to embolden and empower those people? We need you first, to teach us how to stand up again.

Not everyone has the will to stand up for themselves. Not everyone has the will to fight... If you are that person I want you to know that I am too. And I am trying to learn how to love myself enough to fight for myself and my people. Once I learn how I will be back with notes. #empowerment #BLM

They were bent on revenge since Obama... They have wanted to punish us for putting a Black Man in office and they have been SEETHING over this for years, and now they are doing it. Rolling back 60 years of progress in a few days. And yet they tell us black people to shut our mouths and forget... NO.

People radicalize when you take away something they care about. The public radicalized when they banned TikTok. Because we've been trained to hate the world so much we cling to our pacifiers, entertainment. Humanity was once so beautiful, what have we done to ourselves? When did we forget our value?

We humans were blessed with the gift of awareness. To be awake to the world around us. And yet we have squandered this gift, as some people hate the fact that we woke up at all. Demonizing the very word, "woke". Well the American dream only works if you are asleep... I've never been a good sleeper.

We were told to go high when they went low. I think because ultimately we just want peaceful lives and the high road is the fastest path to that. But what do we do when the low ones blow up the bridge from under our feet? Perhaps we need to go down low, find these monsters, and put a stop to this...

The U.S. for many people was already like living in the slow chapters of a dystopian novel. We found joy in small moments, debated ideas in isolated skirmishes. Witnesses the normalization of our deepest fears, helpless to stop it. But now a page has turned. This book has reached its dark climax.
