Today has been our free day here. We spent some time at the beach and then went for a walk. Close to 8km of walking. That much sun apparently tuckered me out and I had a nap. Tonight we’ve gotta restructure our luggage and maybe have a bath or shower.

Yesterday was the last official day of our trip. While bittersweet all things must come to an end sometime. The poor older lady in our group was confused and heartbroken though. Our guide was great, and took us to more Indigenous centres than others would see.

Today we had a long boat ride then a drive out to #Vinland. We went to the #NymphCafe and spent some time at #lanseauxmeadows national park. The National Park was so beautiful.

Today’s adventures brought us to a lighthouse. We even got to actually climb up to the top #Lighthouse #PointAmour.
We were also by the #PinwareRiver.
Tomorrow is another big travel day and boat ride. Not super excited for that

Today has been mostly a traveling day. It was a three hour drive to get to the ferry, just under two hours on the boat, then roughly a 15 min drive to the hotel.

My partner unfortunately got sea sick. No great adventures tonight. I got them some ginger ale and such to help.

Today’s adventures led us to the #Tablelands and #TroutRiver in #Newfoundland. The hike was a pretty nice one being about 4KM return trip. Spending some time in Trout River was also nice.
Tomorrow we have a long journey driving. 3 hours then a ferry ride

My partner and I have begun our latest adventure in #Newfoundland. The two flights weren’t great, but the sights here are beautiful. My legs aren’t used to so many hills, the walk was good exercise. In all we walked about 11.5 km
The view of our hotel. This seems to be one of the older hotels in the area and is absolutely huge. To me it looks like it’s been renovated and expanded off the original hotel A view from the nearby river. The current was pretty strong. I loved the many ducks we saw The city view of Corner Brook from the restaurant we stayed it. Had some good Indian food. This weekend was a LaRP weekend for me. Thankfully in Summer due to the heat we don’t need to wear our full kit.
