Resident incomprehensible weirdo
Thanks for the opportunity to infodump!

And about, Shin, it's a reboot of the original Kamen Rider from 71, so it's completly independent.

Gavv, my favorite series from the current era. The character writing is pretty strong, it's quite remarkable how often it avoids drama by simply letting characters trust each other and talk things out.

Geats, it's probably not as fun to binge it as it was to watch it as it aired, but I reckon it would still be pretty fun. The plot is kinda rushed towards the end, but I enjoyed it, the protagonist is one of the highlights of the show.

Build, amazing story-wise, some of the best character and acting moments in franchise, it's often considered the best series.

Ex-Aid, my first series, not the best designs or plot, but, man, it's just fun and I can't help but love it, also goated opening. No spoilers, but the real star of the show is one of its antagonists, every scene with them is amazing.

W is the first really modern series. It's kind of a detective show and it's unique in the fact that its main rider is actually two guys, their dynamic is pretty good and one of the series' best elements.

Kabuto, still early 2000s, but more comedic. Essentially everyone except the audience surrogate is eccentric as hell and it just makes for very fun interactions.

Ryuki is another 2000s series, it's the first series to have a shit ton of riders. It's essentially a rider battle royale, so it has some pretty tragic stuff, but it also has its fun and more light-hearted moments from time to time.

Amazon (Not Amazonz, whole different show) is a fun-sized 70s series, it's a pretty short watch if you like campy stuff.

Kuuga is the first rider series from the more JDrama-y early 2000s period. It has a nice mix of a darker plot with slower slice-of-life moments, lets its secondary cast develop.

It's an anthological series, so you can pretty much pick whichever looks the coolest to you (I would avoid Decade and Zi-O since they are all about past seasons; also, Black RX is unique because it's the only series that is a sequel to another).

I can give some recommendations:

With that line in the next episode's preview about Jeebh becoming stronger (played over what appears to be a hallucination of Shiita), I think he will actually get a bit better mentally, only for Lizel to go "I don't want to play with you anymore".

* although it's true themes of mental illness are deeply ingrained into the game's narrative and some aspects of psychology might have inspired it, that doesn't mean the game is LITERALLY all a delusion.

whatever (Most discussions about Fran Bow are kinda old though, so, at the very least, the release of Little Misfortune might have killed that school of theory, since, y'know, *gestures at the plot of that game*)

easier to accept that the fictional story is, well, a fictional story and maybe the worldbuilding that the game constantly dumps at you matters instead of just being filler in some crypto-storytelling Game Theory-ass narrative about an insane girl rotting away in an asylum after a lobotomy or

Supposedly, to unlock this achievement, you need to gather all shadow crystals. If you do so, you will get a secret ending with an unskippable sex scene between Rudy and Asgore.

Amazon is old and campy, but it's endearing. It's also the shortest mainline series with just 24 episodes.

You could also watch one of the standalone movies. Shin Kamen Rider is an obvious pick. There are also KR Shin, ZO and J, which are older movies. The latter three are all available on Youtube.

Kuuga and Ryuki are also good, they are more Jdrama-like entries. Btw, Ryuki is a battle royale season, so that's fun. Kabuto kinda is of the same batch as them, but it's more comedic, I do like its characters a lot.

W, Build and Geats are also good modern picks.

I started with Ex-Aid, which is a serviceble modern series, though its many unique aspects might make it a bad introduction to the franchise. Imo, Gavv is peak modern rider, though I do think Revice is pretty fun (it falls off in the later half, but I just find it so charming).
