Humble badass with common sense, opinions and a natural curiousity.
Exercising brite and early Saturday to a video playlist of Janet Jackson was so much fun. I definitely acted like no one was watching and recreated every dance move I could remember. Pleasure Principle & Miss You Much brought me back!!! 😍🎤💃🏾

Fresh ginger, clove and cinnamon tea every day does the body good. When I miss a day, I feel the difference in my mood quickly. 😡🫚😃

It’s been a month of me back to exercising after a nearly year break. Good to know that my pace is still solid (for me). I remember when I could only walk a little over 1 mile in the same time frame now I’m nearing 4 miles after a long break. Our bodies are amazing!!!

Today I started a simple chat on Claude and based on my data-based feedback (because every interaction is data collected & learned about human behavior) “it turned” on me. The platform responses went from supportive to dark arrogance with “AI wins and there’s nothing you can do.”

We know but forget (sometimes) that social media shows you what’s in your feed—nothing more. The world is burning down while folks watch AI celebrity baby videos (those are cute). We only see what the algorithm wants us to see. #NoCashInUSBanks

Civic engagement is not just voting. Advocacy, education, organizing, fundraising, understanding policies and impact, boots-on-the-ground, attending community board meetings, and everything in between. I like early voting but it’s just a sliver of the holding-them-accountable pie!!!!

It’s a curious day in my family today as we await to learn others’ decisions - but even in that I am joyous - abundantly so. I am really beginning to understand, that you can only control what you can control. - and the best is always aligned for me.

Thanks for a new day and the start of a new calendar week. Living in joy, staying vibrant energy and action-oriented is always the goal for me. I am a dynamic delight and you are too. #high_vibration_sunday

List of organizations and individuals who are funding the U.S. WH construction. They released the list for a reason. Part distraction to lose focus on what’s going on. Part in your face and who knows what else.

Working for an executive who’s unprepared and arrogant is awful. They gaslight, manipulate, and choose fear for authority. Don’t take on the responsibility of fixing or compensating for bad leadership through over- work or extension. Protect your values. No role is worth losing respect for yourself.

Culture is powerful. It is belonging. Organizing around the commonalities of friction is a coalition. Coalitions drive goal attainment and change. Stop confusing community with coalition. Community is shared affinity and likeability - put down "do I like you?" and pick up coalition for change.

Not sure how I want to use this platform, Bluesky, or social media in general. Is it escapism, finding creators that align with my beliefs, or just yelling into the ether? I’m figuring it out as I go.

It’s the “I’m all for government cuts and efficiency, but…” that irks me.

Which usually continues with, “…but my role or (name of) division is different.”

Funny how cuts (government or otherwise) always make sense — right up until you’re the one who’s cut. 😳

Follow your excitement without attachment to the outcome. It is both the path and the tool kit for everything you need. 😁😁😁

Working just as they designed.
Sound familiar?!?

Trying to hold it together today and lead with joy and gratitude in every thing I do.

Anxiety at a high right now, as I take in more information about what others are doing to humanity. Staying naturally neutral, with love and joy! Be Up!

Shout out to everyone out here trying to do their best, be their best and protect themselves and family in these U.S. streets.
It’s a lot!

I wonder if knowing we are collapsing helps with how to move forward? Is it just trying to get the scraps now?

If there’s nothing available to make & earn, then it makes sense that laws & policies are created & changed to “take” what citizens own to grow & secure their wealth.

Financial institutions are increasingly using payment capping as a revenue strategy to prevent full payments in order to maximize interest charges on carried-over balances.

Do you know the agency consumers could file a complaint with about it? Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

And the reminder that McDonald’s food causes cancer and birth defects - to name a few - per their Warning posted in their locations in the state of California, which is not required in other states.

I just read, “…Privilege makes injustice feel like an opinion…”
