Good news: My wife decided to pick up a Switch 2 for me!
Bad News: The download time for the Switch 2 is no joke :/ Even have an ethernet cable connected to the dock too.
Note: Mario Kart World has been prioritized already and all other large downloads have been canceled.

Granted the KH3 Re:Mind DLC brought back Leon, Yuffie, and co but the base game only really had briefs cameos concerning FF characters (ex: constelation of Cactuar). Think Nomura said it was due to story/time restraints but curious how the mixture ratio of KH to FF to Disney will be in KH4.

Sometimes its crazy looking back at KH1 & 2 and remembering how much the Final Fantasy component of the series used to be advertised/emphasized. Now people are asking whether KH needs Final Fantasy anymore. While I believe KH doesn't need FF, it feels like taking the strawberry out of neapolitan IC.

Haul from my latest trip to our local used game store :) My only experience with the Mega Man series (besides Battle Network) is the demo of MM9 that came out on the PS3 so curious to see how I'll like the Mega Man X games.

Spent the better part of 90 min trying to beat an option boss in Trails of Cold Steel 2. Is Major Neithardt even human? Should have just backed out and equipped strongest orbs but couldnt remember when I lasted saved -_- Don't even want to think how difficult he is on Nightmare. #TrailsofColdSteel2

Reminds me of the Stardew Calley boardgame. They have you choose your profession at the beginning though (fishing, mining, etc.) so think it makes it easier for you to specialize knowing that.

Replaying Kingdom Hearts II FM with the wife and getting serious throuple vibes from Seifer, Fuu, and Rai.
At the very least Rai and Fuu have some feelings they want to get off of their chest some day...

Took 3 separate playthroughs over the years but finally got the Gap Master trophy in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 & 2! Only 3 trophies to go... Some of those hard To Get There challenges low-key scare me, though.

She presents as a teenager/young girl in Time Stranger most of the time so its hard for me to look at her that way (cannot remember her in Cyber Sleuth for the life of me). She resides in a different dimension, so her age changes all the time. An old lady variant of her would have been fun tho.

Kind of sad I probably won't be playing Outer Wilds 2 for a quick second. Obsidian is probably one of my favorite studios so the thought that my decision to opt out of their most recent release (due to BDS boycott) might ultimately hurt the studio rubs me the wrong way. Know I'm only 1 person but :/

Side Note: I'm playing Digimon Story right now and now everytime I hear about Sony's Magnum Opus my mind jumps a Digimon fashioned after it (supposed that's Casette Beasts jam tho).

The ending of Act 2 of Digimon Story: Time Stranger was actually pretty captivating for me (says the enby up at 3:38 in the morning). It's got some stereotypical time travel cliches, but ultimately uses them pretty well. Honestly, kind of glad I'm playing this right now and not playing Pokemon.

The gameplay loop in Digmon Story: Time Stranger is compelling/captiviating as all hell. End up playing longer than I intend each time I pick up the game. Honestly GOTY/Top 5 material right now.

Finally got Digimon Story: Time Stranger (no store in my area had it so needed to order it online)! Think I need to finish Trails of Cold Steel before I start it though (love turn based RPGs but you know what they say about having too much of a good thing).

The Expert Deck-Builder trophy in ReChain of Memories might be one of the most tedious/annoying trophies I've ever pursued...
Felt like 2 hrs of me pressing X->X->X->X followed by O->O, 450+ times (because editing attempts do not count unless you exit out to the main menu).
Evil trophy suggestion.
