I think the most staggering thing isn't the defense, it's the offense. Duren is having a worse offensive season than last year which is going to exaggerate the differences since we knew his defense wasn't near Stewart's level.

Tbf, according to NBA tracking, Cade is in the 11% in transition efficiency with a 0.81 PPP. Part of that is likely he doesn't get calls, but it's by far his worst playtype.

I wish I was coding games this season, Duren has a crazy TO% for his usage, but I wonder if it's worse with him as the ball carrier, versus him in an action on offense.

He's 5th in TOV% for players below 15% usage (out of 75 players)

My hope is if we can gain a bit of momentum in the first two games. Raptors and Wizards may be the teams struggling most in the East, if we can play like we have against stronger opponents, maybe we can carry the momentum forward.

Definitely fair, based on our current record we're 5-5 against teams below .500.

One positive out of these 6 teams we won't be playing elite wing talent with our current injuries.
