This weekend's snow and ice storm was one for the records in Kentucky! Took two hours to chip enough ice off my car to go to work.

My mom always loved Amaryllis at Christmas so I bought her a bulb as a gift one year. Now that she's gone my dad still takes the pot out of the closet and watches them bloom this time of year.
