I found this diagram in a brain tumor support group on Facebook. This illustrates the effects of a brain injury, but it is relevant to those living with brain tumors or having had brain surgery. While I appear to be "fine" over two and a half years post brain surgery, my brain and the way it functions is irrevocably changed. These changes may seem subtle if you are outside of my brain, however up inside here, it's like someone mashed up a kaleidoscope and snow globe and I'm trying to find my way around without a flashlight!
