Nor had nationwide mental health awareness programs. If you’re gonna be an asshole just because someone went through a different experience and wanted to be understood, loved, supported, then thats just a dick move. people didnt chose to be depressed, it came to them unwillingly.

Emotional problems and those diagnosed with clinical depression… it fucking hurts as a psych major that there’s people out who are so onboard with “respecting the dead” until it is someone that is beyond their values and tolerance… i don’t fucking care if you didnt need therapy for your problems
