My flavour of neurodivergence is designing a new board game or TTRPG system whenever I learn about something cool. All my systems are free to download and play at my itch (link below)

Just put out my first universal TTRPG system COMPASSION dawngamesnetwork.itch.io/compassion . It's meant to encourage roleplay and exploring character depth. It's still at the playtest stage, but It'd be awesome if people checked it out! #ttrpg #indie #oneshot #printandplay

did i mention it's free?

one day I'll stop designing a new #TTRPG every week. That is not this day. In Hero's chains, your party are #superheroes whose power comes from the trust of the people you protect just as their faith forms chains that bind you to that trust #indie#gamedev

see, I don't know I have the confidence to go pro with my nouns. I think i'll stick to amateur nouns for now and take my chances.

The sea is merciless. The sea is untamed. And you, dear captain, are at it's mercy. Guide the fate of your crew and keep the ship together for as long as you can, hoping to escape the accursed fog that traps you under alien stars. #indie#gamedev#solo#ttrpg

I'm in the habit of gamification- taking anything fun i learn and trying to make a casual game out of it. Share the most interesting/fun thing you've designed a game about in the comments! #gamedev#indie#rpg#gamification

I'll go first:
I made a game about different competing parasitic strategies

LOOKING FOR OPINIONS:

I'm trying to design a #ttrpg playable both solo and in a group with GM, set with the captain or crew of a ship lost in fog. If you enjoy #solo-ttrpgs and are interested in giving you opinions on what make a solo rpg fun and approachable, I'd love to chat! #indie #gamedev

The n-body problem is unsolved.

Therefore. Your random vibe-based approximation from your game MIGHT be true and nobody can tell you otherwise :)

As loathe as I am to contribute even an iota of thought to this meme....

I'm sure there's a DnD equivalent to the 100 guys vs gorilla thing. Drop your best in the comments.

100 gnomes vs an owlbear?

100 low-level clerics vs a tarrasque?(statistically ONE of them gets divine intervention, surely?)

The horrifying silence after you email the multi-billion dollar company to ask if you can make an official ttrpg about their show.

The pride that you actually managed to muster the courage to send the email.

The ambient sound of your cat asking for dinner.

...what a day.

Everyone knows that names hold power, so channel that power- and put your name on the line.

In my #one-page #solorpg 'Names hold Power' you use the power of your name to fight and steal the names of evil spirits... but be careful not to forget who you are.

Once upon a time, there lived the most powerful mage in the world....

And that mage is YOU in my latest #one-page-rpg hex-a-gram! It can be played solo, but best with a player and DM. Even the simplest interactions can lead to disaster with a little magic :)

Re LLMs writing term papers: the other day I saw someone say that using LLMs to write is like bringing a forklift to the gym. It's not that the weights need to go up; it's that you need to do the lifting. The doing of the work is the result, not the paper being done or the weights having moved.

A prince Rupert's drop is virtually indestructible except at it's tail. Inspired by this momentous object, I propose 'Prince Rupert's Klein bottle'- the indestructible glass ornament whose tail is safely tucked away inside itself. #KleinBottle #showerthoughts

improvised weapon, indestructible.

seeing my one-page rpgs on the same search bar as the writer of some of my greatest inspirations @gshowitt.bsky.social (even if it's just a coincidence because of release time) is such a win. #onepagerpg#ttrpg

also please check out grant's stuff, its amazing.

You know that feeling when you've spent 7 years designing board games and writing RPG systems for you and your friends? and then you realise that maybe other people would like them? and then you discover that itch.io exists?

yeah, that's how this account exists :)
