I am now able to declare myself a democratic socialist. I was wary until a few days ago. I believe in helping others. It’s that simple. And, I’m tired of the term “handout”. It’s “hand UP”.

Because they know if they did the country will riot and also because many Republican voters have gay friends and don’t want to have to look at themselves in the mirror. I was going to come at all of them for this very thing! Feeling relieved but absolutely annoyed they ever considered it at all.

FYI, the delays are real. Arrived at PHL for an 8:25AM departure and once settled and near boarding time, got the word we are not leaving until 9:55. Be prepared and try to keep a smile on your face. (Or, just take a Xanax or a tequila shot ;) )
