It matters because we can't make it easy for them. When we make it easy for them then we just put them one step closer to the next horror they want to inflict.

Our two-party system is part of the reason that we've gotten here. We don't really get to pick our candidate, some states don't let you vote independent. How do we tackle this problem? I'd like to hear some good ideas.

Avoid red herrings by focusing on the main topic, critically analyzing information that seems pertinent, and pointing out any irrelevant information to put the conversation back on track. Don't let distractions that seem significant, but aren't directly related to the main argument divert you.
