Absolutely NOBODY asks you to do your work. They will absolutely let whoever’s paying your living expenses know that you failed your classes, though.

College me was naive and never knew anything but privilege afforded to only the very young or the very rich. Now I know that I’ll never be eligible for those same benefits again.

The fact that they give up on you FAR easier than anything you’ve experienced before unless you’ve been put up for adoption or kicked out of your home at an age old enough for you to remember.

University of Memphis (One semester during 2020), and Christian Brothers University (2 semesters between 2018 and 2019). I flunked out of both and still hate myself for failing to keep up to this day.

I didn’t decide on it, I didn’t learn how to take charge because I was too busy learning how to try and follow orders that I had no choice but to follow, only to not have the capacity for sacrificing time without direct orders to follow more orders.

Probably coolest teacher I had that year was my math teacher (I had her no less than 3 times, once for Algebra 1, again for Pre-Calculus as well as Homeroom) and she legit brought a crock pot of Buffalo chicken dip for our homeroom’s pre-Winter Break celebration and helped me through a lot of my

Honestly I had some cool ass teachers all through school, but esp. in HS. One year, for instance, a schedule snafu meant I had the same class 2 semesters in a row, so I got to hang out in their office (Next door to the classroom because they were the band director) and study on my own. (cont’d)
