President Carter’s passing has me very solemn 😔 I was born at the end of Nixon (right before he resigned) 🤦♀️ ughhh showing my age 😂 but my first memories of seeing a President on tv was of Carter . That and the fact he was someone to idolize who showed us daily what being your very best meant.

And the baking begins …… already have homemade German stuffing ready (great great grandmom’s recipe), sweet potatoes 🍠 prepped now for the pies 🥧 then tomorrow will be a marathon 😋 my favorite part is leftover turkey 🦃 sandwiches on Friday 😴 😂

I am so sorry for your loss. They sure do leave paw prints 🐾 on our hearts 💕 I lost my baby Banchi last month, she was 16, a piece of my heart shattered that day. I rescued Banchi from a horrible situation 14 years ago.
