When they say elite they mean educated people not rich people. They don’t hate rich people they think that when these programs get gutted it will save their tax money and help make them rich. Just an observation but our elite and their are not the same.

Im not sure this is a fair assessment. These senators decided it was more dangerous to temporarily shut down the government in an environment that wants to permanently shut it down. I don't like what happened either, but part of me also fears they might have been right. #stopthemuskrats

No, we should not. What we need is explain the truth in simpler terms, give people something to vote for instead of against and stop voter suppression. Voters shouldn’t have to do so much research bc many don’t & just vote w/their party. Make it easier and more honest.

It should be very clear to every Senate Democrat that any vote for Cloture will also be considered a vote for the bill.
