These people desperately want to be cool and creative and loved and happy. And they'll never learn how to be any of those things because they believe the answer is always 'more money' instead of 'more human'

They are quite poor compared to many of us in all ways but one

They won't. They all live rich, full lives never having to worry about food or healthcare or housing or for the most part money. People at that level can't understood, or even conceive, of the difficulties of average people

It's 'people vs tech'. Front-end is being accessible and usable and embracing people. Back-end is numbers and 'only code' and doesn't have to worry about people. People are messy and require you to be a PERSON. They don't want to be bothered with people. It's that level of elitism
