Its only fair, but still is a hard surprise to find out that my coach, Life, took distance from the short cuts i took at 24, and added them accumulatively to the end of my drills at 37.

sliding ever slippery
sluced, deduced by weight

the mud is robbed of value
laden naturally innate

strip mines find the gold
but drown the hills to do

whats worth more: the gold to take
or the lives of that
washed through?

Stuff in a box
the past and present

a wall to protect
and a bottom sufficiant
for lifting its passengers' weight

stuff will collect
across every surface
despite its various forms

defining shapes a prism
from which we see the world
bringing shape to different aspects
when the scope is twirled

when some aspects appear more brightly,
others fade to grey,
forgotten til perspective twists
brin them into frame

For dive bombing bass

A handfull of hours
and traffic that flours
Your hybrid with smoggiest smoke

They can't dilute
the dance of the lute
or the drumers uproarious jokes

Manage not the fumes,
Of paints, and cleans, and ions,
Or you'll need to crack a window
And freeze your butt from 5:00 on.
