Don't let any foreign entity ownership rights over our resources period. Make them pay us up front for the privileges of extracting, modifying or transporting our products, resources or services. Also make them post irrevocable bonds for destruction, clean up and remediation of sites they use.

I agree with elbows up when dealing with the tyrant south of the border and I am really disappointed in Carney for backing down in any way. I believe in "we" people and despise the "me" people.

I just enjoy the discussions. I am not trying g to achieve anything. I like to try to understand motivations and to see what alternatives other people see.

I tend to vote for the Rhino or other protest party, I don't trust anyone especially politicians that claim they are doing it on my behalf.

It was likely part of it, part was the media companies push and part was NDP ineffective communications as to what they are. Jagmeet Singh did not do much to help his party's cause imo.

The NDP did not offer anything that looked like the roots of the party, they looked like corporate wannabes not like progressive for the worker and the community. The Greens just can't see to get a foothold . By the way if the Greens and the NDP had gained more seats PP would be your PM. Yuck

The NDP lost the trust of voters by their own actions. If they had of won more seats the outcome would have been a house that looked exactly like it did before the election. The difference would be we would be having elections a month after the last one.

Well since PP would be an historic disaster and the NDP will never form a federal government in the foreseeable future I guess we will get a center-right " investment in Canada " budget with a decrease in services for middle and lower classes.

We need a lot less of anyone doing politics. Anyone who didn't understand what his style would likely be based on his work history wasn't paying attention

Every tariff is a tax ultimately paid by the end consumer. However, I am totally in favor of not one good or service from the USA being bought in Canada by Canadians, period - full stop.

I think humans will actually capitalize the whole species out of existence and it won't take too long. Earth will look pretty much like Mars by the time we are done.

Carbon capture as a form of recycling where the captured carbon is used to produce a needed product ..OK. To pump it into the ground is a scam in my opinion. Also, why are some of the drill and dump projects on indigenous lands I wonder?
