I say this as someone who has in the past / does engage with these communities. I’m not ethnically white but Iook extremely white and the ppl who I end up being friends with irl in the nd community have such a specifically white perspective that they don’t even seem to be aware of 😭

Like if you go into the radqueer tag, there’s 15 year olds behaving as if “transabled” is a normal and valid label. Similarly goes for communities like the therian, age regression, and white nd communities who just become total echo chambers and create arbitrary rules for themselves

I’m on tumblr pretty frequently and I’ve noticed that this has a tendency to make tween/teens think that very very abnormal things are things that are normal or that should be normalized
