Been there a couple of times, terrific (and expensive) place, and great for photography too

Beautiful photo!
My best stargazing memory is camping in North Donegal many years ago, we put recliner chairs out in front of our camp and laid them almost flat, then just lay back and watched the sky for a couple of hours. Saw so many stars in perfect viewing conditions.
A great meditation.

The guy I was thinking about would not be cheap!

I seldom use it, but every time I do it delights me!
I can think of no better a review for a piece of software

Did you want some feedback from me on this? I don’t really do linocut, though am familiar with it and can replicate the style.
I know some who do real linocut too, if you specifically want that.

I used Scrivener for a while, it’s pretty intense, though an amazing set of features, especially impressive on an iPad. But way more firepower for anything I’d need. Ulysses seems a good balance. Still love AI Writer for speed and very concise surgery.

I’ve actually designed some small leaflets using pages
January 8, 2025 at 2:44 PM
Surprised you’re using Pages, though it’s extremely capable, very Apple though, easy to just get on with it. Scrivener is great, but a monster app with steep learning curve. I’m still quite attracted to Ulysses though, strikes a good balance, though I don’t write all that much long form stuff

Congrats on getting your book published, must check it out.
Also been meaning to ask: what apps are you using for your writing these days?
January 7, 2025 at 10:34 PM
Yes, it’s his Waking Up app and book I’m using. Haven’t heard too much combative stuff from him so far though, but generally like his thinking. I think the app is excellent, terrific articles from all sorts of heavily invested thinkers

I’ve seen that in recent forays into philosophy & meditation. ‘Free Will’ pretty much does not exist!

Congrats on the happiness, the love- and the novel!
