Fall Semeser Viewing Diary: Season 2 of this admittedly cheap show, with only seven eepisodes to its name. Joanna Cameron really holds it together, though. Shame she stopped acting.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: Jessie Buckley is one of the most interesting actors working right now. However, this film was the most actor-y film I've seen in years. Mostly, I don't mean that as a compliment.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: This was really good, but I think I prefer Tim Curry. Skarsgard's Pennywise was scary all the time. Curry's was a clown who would turn on you in an instant.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: Shinobi 6: The LAst Iga Spy, also the last film in this set. I definitely prefer the Sleepy Eyes of Death series.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: Kiarostami's first feature. A very simple sotry, almost dialogue free, but I most enjoyed seeing a Tehran that disappeared over 50 years ago.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: I can see Charlie Brown wanting to be the next Bruce Jenner. I didn't see Peppermint Patty trying to be the next Dorothy Hamill.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: The Playground, short film on the House without Frontiers disc that was scarier than that whole other movie. Need to find the Ray Bradbury story it is based on.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: The House Without Frontiers, Spanish horror film made during the last years of Franco's reign. Didn't work for me.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: Interesting little spy film, and the commentary track explained the casting of Hercules in Jason and the Argonauts as well.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: Not as good as the second one.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: Not as good as the second one.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: First short film from Abbas Kiarostami, and it has the required "Person walking down street to cool soundtrack" shot that every director's first film has to include. In fact, that shot was almost the entire film.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: Charlie Brown is cajoled into running the decathlon. One character says to him, "You could be the next Bruce Jenner, Charlie Brown." which conjures up an imaginary animated special with that title that no one will ever see.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: Fairly thorough documentary about the original miniseries. Lots of good points. Part two of the original mini probably deserves a re-edit.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: This show didn't need a season 4. I think they weren't expecting one. either. So this wasn't great, but it was still fun. John Goodman getting to play his own version of The Dude in episode 1 was the high point.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: Never watched this before and not gonna lie, it took five years after watching part 1 to finally watch part 2. Tim Curry is good though.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: A not so good Hong Kong Black magic pregnancy horror movie. Not gonna lie, this one almost lost me when a very gross thing I don't want to share happened.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: A very good pregnancy horror movie from a woman's point of view. More people need to see this.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: The ninja hero of this sequel is presented as finally killing the Shogun, who laughs at him as he dies and says "I'm 75, defeated all my enemies, and created a reign that will last centuries. What do you think you've won?" That line is right about the key story problem.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: An entire Snoopy episode, and mostly a dream, too. Phooey.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: Only seven episodes--The Saint Francis and Moses the Black episocdes worked most for me. The Martin Kolbe episode was illuminating.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: One online review of this said, "To understand this movie, you need to see it." I saw it. I still do not understand it. And unlike normal, that is not a recommendation.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: After a fake 70s movie, watched a real one. THis one still works for me, even if they put Jacqueline Bisset in some of the worst jackets I've ever seen.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: I know what this wanted to be. It did not make it.

Fall Semester Viewing Diary: I've seen the American remake and still like it better (due to Leslie Howard). But now I think this Swedish version is a secret prequel to Bergman's Autumn Sonata.
