Hi, I'm Davi, a trans femme IT engineer. This is a gender ID, not a kink. Chasers, scammers, shoo, go away. Married/poly/die hard romantic

Heavily into RPG's, science fiction, horror, LARPing, and generally embracing my inner nerdcore.
There’s more to life than a lap full of purring kitten, though I’m at a loss to name it

Looking at my medicine for my Progesterone prescription, and saw that I was deadnamed on it.

I. Got. Deadnamed on my HRT medication?!

Irony is a dead art.

Hey, you, anxiety attack? Eff off, I deserve joy.

Whelp, wrote up a report on an ongoing issue in production that's been there for months and I've run into a lot of obstructionists in cya mode. I've been told to bounce it up to their director.

Butt cheeks clenched, I am going to be pissing off some folks.

A few days ago, a friend of mine said he didn't have my "grit", or resolve to get through issues and stress.

First, I think he undersells himself. Sometimes, you don't know your own strength until you are tested.

But mostly... it usually comes down to a choice. Do you survive, or do you not?

Long, stressful work day. But, I’m now a very loudly purring kitten on my lap, so it’s all worth it.

Reading a queer friendly book set in the late 19th century, including a trans soldier and shoggoths. Life is good.

I've had a vendor reaching out to me for the past 6 weeks, and almost weekly trying to get me to hire his contractors. I have refused several times, and today, hopefully, he'll finally get the clue.

"It's starting to look a bit like Halloween, with every bit of cheer"
House is starting to look awesome with holiday decorations.

Argh. I’ve finished my reading list…. Bugger, what next to read?

The protest today does make a difference. If it didn’t, you would not have nearly the number of right wing trolls trying to bash it.

I was sitting out on the porch reading, when dusk started. The cacophony of birds greeting the passing day, was so loud it almost sounded like a tropical jungle

Really feeling the need to sleep in today.

Cats, “we’ve never been fed ever, get up and feed us! Meow!” While kneading in my bladder.

I forgot just how exhausting that commute was until increasing the regularity of it. Oof

I don't how hot shit of an engineer you think you are, if you don't double check your work, you are utterly useless to me.

This message brought by a 15-20 minute cut that took over 2 hours because of config issues on their side.

They laid off my number one guy today due to budget.

I’ve worked with the guy for 15 years. I’m really not ok with this.

My lovely wife posted this in a group chat

"The 19th anniversary is giant spider legs"

I am glad we didn't go for that traditional gift.

Faire. Hot, tire, but happy.

Last night's dreams involved a combination of the film Brazil, Paranoia (alpha complex!), and We Happy Few.

It got really weird and disturbing. Could make an interesting story, though.

I shouldn't be allowed unsupervised at Faire or Etsy in October. So many shiny costume bits...

If you wind up both shouting and crying, that makes it a good therapy session, right?

Oh hey, summons for Jury Duty. Wonder how they’ll boot me this time

Looking at the news these days is like being sandblasted in the face non-stop every day.
