But then you’d have to be locked out of romance options, possibly every chapter event would end badly (shows importance of MC), and Wayne could go unnoticed OR he’s the main scary, making this more of a haunted house story with Tabby either believing you or not. Honestly, it could be a fun idea…??

It could be interesting if the main character (you) only needs to be in SH for everything to happen, but not at the event. The idea of the MC just chilling in the mansion, hanging with Tabitha, and being oblivious to everyone until the funeral could be funny if people just want more Tabby + Dustin.
