I can only imagine. I’m a chronic volunteer. I was CERT, when I lived in Rural Washington. I’ve been an Emergency Communicator in rural Washington and in the Southern Gulf Islands, British Columbia. Rural Washington was fun with CERT training, theatre people would be volunteer casualties.

I applied, and will reapply soon. I hear you, it would be part time volunteer work for me. If nothing else, given my other volunteer work, I feel equipped to deal with a tough conversations if they come up.

After transitioning and seeing the sea change in public perception of the trans community I felt compelled to be a voice saying please stay, let’s make a plan together to keep you safe while you find the help you need. I’m glad to see that

What scientific discoveries would blow my mind, what progress in the human condition would we make in a century, and what I see is things like vaccine denialism, revisionist history, and take back rights and freedoms.

Yeah, I really didn’t want the dystopian future but it looks like I have no choice. A lot of my family makes into their late 80’s and even well into their 90’s. As a kid I was excited to live to 100 because how far would we have gone out into space

Sadly, I agree. When see the West going Fac…. I think of so many of family who fought in the Second World War. I keep hoping we learn from past mistakes but doesn’t look like it. I’ll be 60 shortly but I feel terrible for the up coming generations. It could have been great for them.

I’m with you. I have 3 passports and 2 are highly toxic to trans people, the U.S. and the U.K. and even in BC the right tried to float a bill which would have allowed surgeons to be sued up to 25 years after surgery for any perceived “harm”. The world’s gone mad.
