Oscar nominated Latina writer/director, D&D enthusiast, trumpet player, and yes that is Crusader Kings 3 in Emergency
There is no live action Lion King movie. One is CGI and one is hand drawn, but they're both animated

I live in LA and the protests are smaller than 2020. The situation is not so out of control that the LAPD, Sheriff Dept, National Guard need the Marines to help them. This is all theater to Trump. He's throwing a military parade on his bday. The troops are toys to him.

Honestly that might be a good marketing tactic. Alzheimer's is scary.

We need some kind of "human made, no AI" official seal. Like organic/free range, but for publications.

My mom (late 60s) was unlucky to get a neurodegenerative disease that gave her dementia. This disease has torn through her entire life savings (45+ years of working) in the matter of just a few years. If she misses a single Social Security check, she's in huge trouble.

How are you fighting, and how can constituents help?

Lol she says she liked Anora because it isn't "pushing a partisan agenda" but it's literally a movie about class, and how the billionaires do not see us as full human beings. About how we're in the eyes of the rich, we're playthings.

This lady doesn't seem very insightful.

Exactly. Nostalgia is brainrot. I wish people focused their feelings of yearning towards fighting for a better future.

He said "we need to fight back in every single way." Every way, except for that one. And that one. And that one...

The rule of law is dead, if they brazenly refuse to follow it

I feel like more people should be aware of Summer Eternal's manifesto, which really speaks to the current moment. Summer Eternal is the new company by some of the former members of ZA/UM (who made Disco Elysium). summereternal.com#manifesto
SUMMER ETERNAL
Summer Eternal is a brand new project in collective art-making, developing counter-cultural computer role-playing games with a commitment to worker co-ownership and artistic integrity.

WWII began. Stuck in a work camp, he begged the Nazis to let him fight for Germany. They ignored him. Only when they had forsaken him did he grasp the horror of their agenda. He was locked up for 8 years, w/ Jewish people. Once free, he tried to repent.

He was an outspoken supporter, writing in favor of the Nazi regime. Then Nazis started punishing people he had converted to Christianity, claiming they were still Jewish. Niemöller protested that baptism removed their Jewishness, so they should be exempt. He was arrested for dissent. (2/3)

They DO NOT care. It's all political theater for them. They probably laughed while we burned.

Yeah, if anything it's more like the original Little Mermaid fairy tale (NOT the Disney version with the happy ending)
