did a little survey of my socials this morning. the news from South Korea was all over Bluesky, nothing on Threads, only one post on X, a little commentary on TikTok and (surprisingly) at the top of my Instagram feed. feels like news orgs are trying to figure out where to invest for breaking news.

People are often surprised when I tell them this: both Twitter and Facebook/insta/threads are now specifically engineered to downgrade, hide, suppress real journalism. If this platform is different, that's a huge change

I’ll speak for myself but it’s impossible to not stay on X too, given the amount of policy and planning is posted there. What is the end result in this split in information/culture/voices ?

This was the end of little mini chase on the 10 just now. Scary af to be driving through this with fragile cargo in the back seat.
