O2 merger with Virgin is a disaster. I couldn't get logged in to their new app.
Lebara was a synch.
NO ONE from O2 bothered to contact me.

Social reforms 👏🏼
No property tax/stamp duty reform. Nothing to kick start the house market and kick-start growth 🫤
Maybe the OBR will leak this next week.

Cancelled O2 after more than 20 years as a customer. Now with Lebara - MSE tip. Big savings...

You can only make changes if you have power. To have power you need to have an electorate with you.

Easy to make such populist messages from the side lines.

So take away their argument or have the buggers running the country
November 17, 2025 at 3:03 PM
Err maybe the polls showing Reform out in front.

Reform and what's left of the CONS are owning the agenda. This gets in the way of what's really important e.g. cost of living, child-poverty, failing Public services.

And don't conflate immigration with illegal immigration and not just the boats
November 17, 2025 at 12:29 PM
Immigration or illegal immigration?
Don't conflate them.
And don't forget that there are plenty of voters without a brain. Brexit is an example of how the right wing media can whip up the mob

The government represents 100% of the UK population. This issue is tearing the nation apart - not a time for idealistic POV
November 16, 2025 at 8:59 PM
They were elected with a 33.7% share of the vote. They serve 100% of the country - not idealistic hacks.

Yes. Same TQ9 devon

Don't conflate with EV usage
November 9, 2025 at 6:38 PM
They are heavierm. More than ICE equivalents. They need to pay their way
November 9, 2025 at 4:36 PM
@dale airplanes don't wear the roads out.
EVs are heavy a Peugot 208e is 1000kg + heavier than ICE equivalent.
November 9, 2025 at 4:34 PM
Lorries certainly contribute as do delivery vans. EVs are not fairies
November 8, 2025 at 11:48 AM
EVs are heavy due to their batteries. A peugot 208e is 1000kg heavier than an ICE equivalent.
Unlike FUEL duty 52p per litre and 20% VAT there on, VED does not account for road usage.
EVs have higher initial environmental impact due to batteries - X over point in typically 16000 miles.
November 8, 2025 at 8:39 AM
Love evs but
They are heavier and smash up the roads. They should contribute to road use. The charging cost - doesn't cover this.

They also carry a huge environmental overhead for the materials in their batteries.

There's no such thing as a free lunch

Are they renaming the welly (Wellington boot) - andys
November 7, 2025 at 7:55 AM
Easy when you are far from power. What about the realities of today.

A common cause integrates. In my experience A level English won't be an issue but it may serve to turn down the heat of this poisonous atmosphere
October 14, 2025 at 8:15 PM
/2..It's interesting. I know of migrant visas given to essential engineers with poor oral English but good aural and written English with a partner who worked in a charity shop whilst studying for an MBA and working alongside a British Msc engineer with severe dyslexia. All integrate well

Tom it's easy to cast stones when not in power ....

That's just mean
October 14, 2025 at 3:41 PM
I suspect Labour was going to announce a version of cancelling Stamp Duty in November budget and it has been knicked by Kemi. A great way to create feel good factor and short term stimulus for the economy

10.15 pm Sunday ITV1 - hardly peak viewing.
We can't let this misuse of public money (theft) slip away under the carpet in the conference seasons
