RIP Larry Brooks, the great and incomparable hockey writer for the NY Post. Condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. I loved reading Larry, but even more, I loved sitting next to him at hockey and baseball games and hearing his wonderful stories and insights. A real mensch.

For those who heard the strikeout whistle when Donald Trump was shown on the video screen at Yankee stadium last night, I’m told it was played accidentally. I was told the technician meant to click on “Hail To The Chief” but pressed the whistle by mistake.
