There's this observation/ theory that 🔵 is typically a late-comer in the colour systems of the languages of the world. Does this word originally mean "blue", or is it rather the word for the mineral transferred to the colour?

The fourth speaker from Early Irish Maynooth was Tiago De Oliveira Veloso Silva (supervisors @niamhwycherley.bsky.social @thecelticist.bsky.social) with the historical talk "Giving while taking: the freedom of Clonard and aggressive patronage", funded by a @researchireland.ie Pathway Grant.
