Why did every league not just adopt the rules used at the Euros where only captains could ask the referee questions? Seemed to work and then everyone just forgot about it..

I think it's also proof you can use the media to your advantage. That MNF appearance has done wonders for him. Only Barnsley and Sheffield Utd in PL history have had as bad a defence as this after 16 matches, highly doubt his reputation would be as high without that MNF presentation.

Only Sheffield United last season and Barnsley have conceded more goals after 15 games in the Premier League era. They are dreadfully organised at the back. Surprised anyone could retain their job after managing a team to concede 4 times against this Everton side.

I feel like it was harsh, Fausto Vera endangered himself as much as anything by stooping so low and arriving so late. Certainly didn't feel it was as clear cut as Pat Nevin and Jonathan Pearce seemed to think.

Just far too expensive for too many supporters and I can't imagine flights from Belo Horizonte and BA are very cheap or regular.

He seemed to really piss off the referee in the first half when he picked up his first yellow. Think the ref may have been more lenient with him if that hadn't happened.
