I ran the numbers on the JSON export from VA Elections website. Totals may not be 100% accurate because I counted all counties/cities that belong to the 5th district whether or not the entire locality does. Earle-Sears 55%, Spanberger 45%. Small D gain over 2024, McGuire 57.25%, Witt 42.25%.

He was awful as well on the "Digger" Indians of Nevada/California in "Roughing It". He did outgrow that sort of thing, and his 1905 takedown of King Leopold's atrocities in the Congo hints at how he might have handled a Donald Trump.

ACECO is the (de)construction company but it would be interesting to know whether they asked for volunteer drivers or simply assigned the task.

Sadly, they get reinforcement from the top (see Trump and Vance's juvenile responses to No Kings 2). But the massive numbers of people who came out in peaceful solidarity for the protests sends them a clear message that the hateful are outnumbered.
