Spotted at work - I feel like there's some sort of metrics and measures joke just waiting to happen here...

It's always fun to get into my shop and to make something - in this case, a wand for a staff member's daughter who is a big Harry Potter fan.

The wand is Bocote, with a rare earth magnet hidden under the tip so the wielder can work minor magic...if objects near the tip are magnetic.

Well, my tire pressure gauge doesn't seem very enthused about Friday.
